Three current London Shows in amazing locations that I’m desperate to see

literary london, London, theatre

These three theatre experiences just look AMAZING! Really exciting use of set, story and drama to tell some of my very favourite tales that there are. If I had lots of money I’d go and see them all at least once, but as it is we shall see!

1. Philip Pullman’s Grimm Tales at the Oxo tower

This is an immersive theatre experience, which I’m desperate to go to, and inspired by Philip Pullman, who is amazing. I think this is likely to be a bit creepy but utterly fantastic. The sets look spectacular and I can’t think of much more exciting than exploring a fairy tale in the Oxo tower!

Info and tickets here.

2. Alice’s Adventures Underground, in the vaults below Waterloo station.

Drink Me - Alice's Adventures Underground (final)

To literally descend down into the earth and encounter a living Wonderland – this sounds absolutely fantastic! Again possibly a bit creepy with the surroundings and the strangeness of Carroll’s world, but I really want to go to this! Full of performances, puppets, music and amazing sets. Apparently on arrival you choose either EAT ME or DRINK ME, which determines how your show unfolds….

Info and tickets here.

3. The Railway Children, Kings Cross Theatre featuring A REAL TRAIN.

I live just around the corner from this so have seen various stages of construction etc. It’s probably less innovative than the others, but I still think it sounds like a LOT of fun!

Probably quite childish but the story is so classic and beautiful that I think it would be worth it.

Info and tickets here.

So that’s how I’d really like to spend the next couple of months. If anyone wants to buy me tickets feel free… or if you go to any of them let me know what you think!
